Scott Stinchcombe – President/Owner (Insurance $ Investment Planning Specialist)

Born and raised in Edmonton, is the founder of Metro Financial Planning.

Scott has a passion for teaching finance, and a passion to change the industry. He has been in the Insurance and Investment planning field for over a decade. He started Metro Financial Planning with a vision to educate how Canadians understand money.

His goal is to create a new type of financial planning provider – one that spends additional time to ensure the client finds the right, individualized plan for each specific need. Scott has been concerned that the industry is too sales-focused, which led him to branch out and create his own company – one that puts client service and understanding them first. He intends to” Raise the Bar” in service and education to the industry as a whole. With the help of his Team, they will give YOU complete confidence with your Insurance and Investments for your Financial future.

Alex Gavin –  Insurance $ Investment Planning Specialist

Alex became interested in personal finance early, with the gift of the original Wealthy Barber book at the age of 13. Initially he was mentored by his dad but has now decided to take personal finance more seriously, both personally and professionally.

Alex is currently working toward his Certified Financial Planner designation, wanting to ensure that his clients receive the best possible financial advice. He has an interest in developing comprehensive financial plans, particularly for young families, because he knows how important it is to safeguard the most important things in your life.

He is excited to team up with Metro Financial Planning because he really believes in the vision of putting clients’ education first.

Chadwick Holcomb –  Insurance $ Investment Planning Specialist

Seeing first-hand the results of consumer debt and other consequences of poor financial decisions made by family members while growing up, Chadwick determined to study finance. A basic financial education helped turn his own financial situation around, and enabled him to further advance his education.

Moving to Edmonton in 2013 with his wife and daughter, Chadwick began his four year degree in finance and business administration. By the end of his studies, Chadwick’s course was set: he wanted to dedicate himself helping others by educating them about their finances. Coming from a low-income family, he knows that even a limited income, if properly managed, can allow a family to live comfortably and achieve their financial goals.

Chadwick is an example of success through education. He wants to help other individuals and families learn the skills and develop the tools necessary to confidently manage their personal finances and achieve their goals, financial or otherwise.

Chadwick is excited being a part of Metro Financial Planning, and work with a team that focuses on the client instead of the sale.

Curtis Uffelman –  Insurance $ Investment Planning Specialist

Born and raised in Edmonton.

Curtis enjoys snowmobiling in the mountains and traveling with his significant other. He is currently going to NAIT for finance, and is looking for to completing his degree and passing that knowledge on to Metro Financial Planning clients.
